Course summary:

The Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Code (MCC) came into effect on 1st December 2011 and introduced the requirement for a specific “ethics module” in complying with CPD requirements. In response to this, Compliance Ireland developed a 1 hour Ethics course for regulated financial firms.

Course content:

After completion of this course, participants will have an understanding of the ethical requirements that regulated firms face. This course deals with the following:

  • what ethics are
  • how to follow the ethical route in a regulated financial firm
  • what the Central Bank expects
  • how organisations can promote ethical behaviour
  • does having ethics pay?
  • case studies and practical examples
